Das Musikensemble „Liturina“ aus vier MusikerInnen (Violine, Blockflöte, Violoncello und Cembalo/Orgel) präsentieren das Programm „Hidden in plain sight: Chorale Preludes from Bach to Böhm“:
„As one of the prominent compositional structures of the Lutheran tradition, the chorale prelude was a wellspring for creativity and imagination. Just as chorales were woven into the fabric of the service and thereby that of municipal life, so these eternal melodies are woven into, superimposed, hinted at and underlined in these rich and abundant works, creating a musical game of hide and seek that generates surface delight as well as deeper meaning.“

Die deutschen Gemeinden haben eine ganz besondere Verbindung zu diesem Ensemble: Das Ensemble wurde von Ian Hall und Gabi Jones gegründet, also der Tochter unserer Organistin in Manchester Brigitte Jones.
