So viel du brauchst…. Fastenaktion 2018 für Klimaschutz und Klimagerechtigkeit

www.klimafasten.de

The old organ was badly damaged when a bomb exploded on the north east side of the Cathedral in 1940, and stop-gap measures were taken to repair the instrument, re-using old pipework. This organ lasted 75 years.

Sir Norman Stoller and the Trustees of The Stoller Charitable Trust have generously sponsored the new Stoller Organ (the total cost was approximately £2.6m) …

You are hopefully already aware of Manchester Passion 2017 and arrangements and Rehearsals for this are gathering pace. Manchester Passion will celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, with a simple message of love, hope and forgiveness. The Production will include live drama and music with a cast of over 30 actors, The Manchester Inspirational Voices Choir and the Sweet Rhythm Big Band.

We believe this message of love and forgiveness is especially important as British Society goes through one of the most turbulent and uncertain times in our history. The production will try to reassure the jobless and the homeless, those who are refugees or immigrants and anyone without hope that Jesus can bring hope to their situation.

The event will be free and we are hoping to attract all of Greater Manchester’s multicultural communities; uniting local people of different faiths or none to hear God’s glorious message.

Many Blessings

Manchester Passion Committee
